Privacy policy

The website collects nothing

This site is a set of static files. It uses no cookies, no analytics, and no third-party trackers. There are no advertising pixels, no social embeds, and no fonts or scripts loaded from other domains. A strict Content Security Policy blocks anything that is not self-hosted.

Your financial data stays on your machine

The bankstatementparser software processes financial data on your own machine. Structured formats — CAMT, PAIN.001, MT940/MT942, BAI2, OFX/QFX and CSV — are parsed deterministically on-device, and PDFs fall through to a local model by default. Statements are not sent anywhere by the library unless you explicitly configure an external LLM provider yourself. This website neither sees nor stores any statement data at any point.

The contact form

The only data that leaves your browser is what you voluntarily submit through the contact form — your name, email address, optional organisation, and message. If the form is configured, those details are transmitted to and processed by Formspree under its own privacy policy, purely so we can reply to you. We use that information for no other purpose and do not sell or share it.

Server logs

Like any website, the hosting server may keep standard access logs — for example your IP address, the time of the request, and your browser's user agent string. These logs exist for security and operational purposes and are not used to profile or track visitors.

Your rights

You may request access to any personal data we hold about you, and you may request its erasure. Because the website itself stores nothing, in practice this only concerns messages you have sent us via the contact form or by email.
